I'll stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
