Two more people have been arrested in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Police detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
